It took ten years for this piece from early ideas to completion.
An irony of assurance is that while we will get the result we want, we also need to achieve interim results: not that we do not deserve the outcome or do not strive for the standard, but that dedication and perseverance are more important. Experiencing the assurance reminds one of the promises of the destination, even though, for most of the journey, nothing much happens, or it leads nowhere.
